There can be a tendency to equate sleep with rest. How many hours we are getting. Trying to get to bed early to fit enough hours in. Even with a respectable number of hours sleep under your belt you may still wake up tired.

The truth is that not all rest is created equal. The kind of sleep where you practically pass out with tiredness has a very different quality from the sleep that gently descends upon you when you are in a restful state.
