Emotional Freedom Technique ‘EFT’

Tapping or EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) as it is also known, is a powerful technique that can be used to reduce stress. Tapping is a combination of the principles of Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

Studies have shown that through tapping you can decrease cortisol levels (cortisol is often referred to as the stress hormone). Stress is often linked to a variety of things including anxiety, weight gain, problems sleeping, lack of motivation, chronic pain, stomach issues, and depression. Through tapping its thought that stress can be reduced, cortisol levels lowered, sleep improved, anxiety reduced, pain relieved, productivity increased to name but a few benefits! Stress also lowers our immune system so tackling stress can help our immune system to do its job more effectively.

Tapping can be used in a 1-1 session to deal with a specific issue or problem. Once learned the technique can also be easily used regularly at home to help with any stress that impacts your health & wellbeing.

YOUR TAPPING SESSION

We will work together to identify what you would like to work towards and what blocks, beliefs or fears might be getting in your way. Then we start tapping. We will identify what is shifting and changing for you as we tap and anything else that needs to be addressed in subsequent sessions.
