Womens Circles

I held my first Woman’s circle for International Women’s Day back in 2016. The circle that started that day has continued to run pretty much each month since then. Some of the amazing women who joined that first circle still attend today. We have new women joining often. Some make it along once or a few times a year, others are there each month.

We hold an in person circle each month in the A Wee Retreat Studio on the Friday closest to the New Moon.

During the pandemic we took our circles online. Unsure how the special space we had in person would translate online. We were delighted to find that the online circles left us feeling as deeply connected, seen and heard as the in person ones.

Such was the success of these we now also hold an online circle each month on or near the Full Moon. It’s wonderful to be able to gather online and we have cultivated a very special, safe and connected space. We have been joined by women around the world and it’s wonderful to part of this wider community.

What to expect online or in person:

  • A very warm welcome! All of you is welcome here. Come as you are. You belong.

  • Each month will have a different theme and the format is generally:

  • Creating the container, circle agreements to create a safe and relaxed space

  • Short meditation to help you relax leave your day behind

  • Connect - an opportunity for everyone to connect with each other

  • Theme – discussion and/or activity based on monthly theme

  • Heart Mediation to close and connect with Sister Circles around the world

  • Oracle Cards

What to bring:

  • If online be in a cosy safe place you won't be disturbed

  • A journal & pen

  • Water or tea or cacao

  • Optional - If you feel moved to bring something to share relating to the theme of the circle, a poem, story

  • Optional - If there is something you wish to have with you a crystal, something special and symbolic for you

What to wear: be comfortable, anything goes. Some like to dress up, some down, some in onesies. Anything goes. Be comfortable.

The focus is to cultivate sacred sisterhood and authentic connection in our community.

Whether you’ve attended a women’s circle before, or this is your first time, you’re welcome to join. No previous meditation or women’s circle experience is needed - come exactly as you are.

Both circles open at 7pm, the in person door and virtual zoom room open at 6.50pm.

The exchange for this event is £20 or £25 for in person with Ceremonial Cacao.

with love
